Trick Or Treat

So I am finally getting around to posting the halloween pictures! This was Deacon's first year to go trick or treating. And he LOVED it! He was Superman this year and he looked so cute! Me and Danny took him to our parents neighborhood to go trick or treating that way we would know some of the neighbors!

Deacon loved going door to door and getting candy. The only thing he couldn't figure out was why he couldn't go into everyones houses! He would get so mad when we would have to leave!

But I think his favorite part of the night was when he got to play in the leaves. He had never done this before and he was so excited. Everytime we would try to take him out he would just sit right back down. He was not going to leave the pile of leaves!

Also on my most favorite sisters birthday we went to the zoo. She decided that a 30th birthday party would be awseome at the zoo! And it was! The weather was so nice thankfully cause she said no matter what we had to go! So my whole family went to except for Danny cause he is always working. And we all had a blast!

This is my nephew Brody. I wouldn't even get near the snake and he even touched it! GROSS! I hate snakes! I think that Deacon inherited my fear of snakes because any time he would get near one that day he would freak out and start to cry. My brother even showed him a stuffed animal snake in the gift shop and he was not having it! I don't think he had even seen a snake until that day at the zoo. So I have no idea where he learned to be afraid. But at least I won't have to worry about him bringing home snakes!
Then when we were in looking at the monkeys my sister says to me "oh no this one is dead!" And it was just a stuffed animal. She thought it was real!

Goodbye My Sweet Pumpkin

I was just informed that my lovely pumpkin that I worked so hard on has been stolen! All three of them were sitting on my moms front porch and they only stole mine! I am very sad!

Halloween Time!

Yesterday me, my sister and my nephew decided to paint some pumpkins. We decided to paint them instead of carve so that my nephew could do it all by himself. It was a blast! And they turned out a lot better then I thought they would.

All done! I think that Brody did the best job! His is the only one that looks like it's for halloween!(His is Dracula) Me and Alisha just made girl pumpkins. But I think they turned out really cute!

That same night Me and Danny had a halloween party to go to and I forgot to bring my camera so I only have one picture of us before we left for the party. Danny dressed up as a nerd and I was an 80's aerobic instructer.

I wish I would have had my camera because there was a lot of really good costumes! Hopefully next year I remember!

Me and my family went to my cousins wedding last night and we had to draw a picture of the person sitting to the right of us in order to be able to eat our dinner. I thought that they were funny so I wanted to post them!

Downtown Living

So for those of you who don't know. Me and Danny sold our house about a year ago and moved into an apartment downtown. It is so much fun there are so many strange people to lurk! And I love to lurk. Our neighbor is the homeless shelter(I know what you are thinking...GHETTO! But Its actually not that bad) We have tons of entertainment it seems that the crazys come out at about five in the morning. One morning when Danny was out of town I was awaken by a high pitch scream. I jumped up to look out the window thinking that someone was in trouble but it was just some crazy lady walking up and down the street screaming at the top of her lungs. This went on for about an hour. Then about a week later at about five in the morning AGAIN me and Danny woke up to some guy singing opera in spanish. And whats really funny is that he was really good at it. This went on for about a week. I kinda miss spanish opera guy! I hope he comes back soon! And then yesterday when I was driving to work I was stopped at the light waiting to get on the freeway when this old homeless man was walking across the street and the whole time he was just staring at me and laughing the creepiest laugh I have ever heard in my entire life! It was freakin hilarious! There is always something going on no matter what time it is so I highly recommend that if you like to people watch then downtown is the place for you!

I Am Stoked!

Sleeping Beauty was released today! I am super stoked and am on my way to go and buy it! This is one of mine and Dannys favorites!

In With The New Out With The Old!

I am so excited because the other day Danny bought us new couches! I have been wanting new couches for the longest time! For five years we have lived with the most horrid couches. When we first got married my brother gave me his old couches that had been sitting in my great grandmas garage for two years and I am pretty sure that while they were in her garage they were a lovely home for a family of mice! But I must also mention that before my brother had these couches they belonged to my parents. They were from when they got married(So the seventies). Now they were not in bad shape because all thru my childhood years we were not allowed on these couches. My mom never let us in the living room hence they were NEVER sat on! So we had these couches for about four years and then Danny's grandpa was moving and he gave us his couches but they were in worse shape then our previous ones! They had a bunch of holes in them and recently my cat found one of those holes and kept crawling down into the couch and getting stuck so Danny had to cut a hole in the back of the couch to get him out! So it was about time for new ones!

Deacon loves the new couches too! He loves to lay and watch cartoons. For mabye one minute then its on to the next adventure!



I should also mention that I made my sister sew those cute pillows for me! I can not sew so she did it for me since to buy one throw pillow at the store costs just as much as making six of them on your own!
