I Can't Believe It's Over!

Well another Christmas has came and went! When I was little it seemed to take forever for Christmas to get here but now it just flys by! We had a really good Christmas and we didn't have to run around as much as we usually do each year. So that made it really nice.

When Deacon woke up in the morning me and Danny took him out to show him that Santa had came and he was so excited to see all those presents under the tree! He wasn't so interested in unwrapping them but he sure loved all the toys he got! Some of the things he got from Santa was a basketball hoop, table and chairs, and lots of Hot Wheels! He had so much fun playing with them all! Me and Danny also got to open our presents from each other. He got me some super cute and super comfey slippers,Two pairs of awesome pants, and a pair of shoes. (Oops I forgot that Deacon got me the slippers!) Danny got a new Ipod, new shoes, a cd and new headphones from Deacon. It was so much fun watching Deacon open everything and how excited he was to have all those new toys! Then we went to my moms to have breakfast and my whole family comes over later in the afternoon for a party. It was alot of fun to have everyone around minus my cousin Jonni and her husband David. They weren't able to come because of the snow. So I hope they had a good Christmas at home! After that was over we went over to Danny's parents house. It was alot of fun untill we noticed how bad it was snowing and I was so not looking forward to driving home! But we made it!

I posted alot of pictures so sorry but this is going to be a long post!

On Tuesday we all went to my moms and built a snowman! It was so much fun but the snow was not good snow to build anything with but we tried! Deacon loved the snow!

This is our finished product! It's not the best but I still think it's cute! We thought it would be fun to have a snowman for when everyone came over on Christmas. But the storm we had on Christmas knocked the head off so we had a headless snowman!

He loves his basketball hoop. And he knew just what to do with it as soon as he opened it!

Danny will never take a serious photo he always has to be making a face. I tried so many times and this is the best one I could get!

After Deacon got out of the bath this morning he went straight to his new laptop that his Grandma and Grandpa Madsen gave him. I thought it was so cute how he knew what to do. I guess he must watch me alot when I am on mine! Deacon got so many new toys to play with it it's hard to name them all! But he is having so much fun this morning playing with them ALL!!

Picture Fun

My laptop has been in the process of being fixed and so for the last two weeks I have been using Danny's. I noticed that he had some pictures that I don't have so I thought that I would post some of them. They are old but so cute!

Zoo Lights

Tonight Me and Danny decided to take Deacon to see the Zoo Lights. It was so much fun and the lights were really cool. They even had deep fried smores and they were delicious. So here is a few pictures from the zoo!

Time To Decorate

My mom was trying to decorate her house for christmas when me and Deacon came over on Friday. And of course Deacon wanted to help. So needless to say she didn't get finished with her decorating! This is him trying to put the candles on. He actually did a really good job but he didn't want to leave them on. He just wanted to take them on and off.

Then he found out he could get in the tupperware and thats where all the decorating stopped!

My mom had to finish the next day when we were not around. But he did help her put all the ornaments on the tree. I am sure she had to rearrange them when he left!

Twice the Twilight

Today me, my mom and my sister went and saw Twilight. This was their first time and my second. I have to say it is even better the second time around. It was so much easier to just watch and not be thinking about what happens in the book! So I highly recommend seeing it more than once. My mom and sister also enjoyed it so that was good. Maybe I will go and see it again. So if anyone wants to go just let me know and I will probably go with you.

Thanksgiving

We went to my Grandma Edvik's for thanksgiving and ate lots of yummy food! My most favorite thing that she cooks on Thanksgiving is creamed cabbage. It looks like puke but it tastes so yummy! And we only get it on Thanksgiving so I am always excited when it is our year to go there. This is Deacon eating his first real thanksgiving meal. Since last year he was eating sweet potatoes from the jar. He loved every bite of it I have never seen him eat as much as he did this day!

I was trying to get a picture of everyone that was there. I didn't quite make it but this is my Uncle Clark and my cousin Emily. Emily told me not to post this on facebook but she never said anything about my blog!


This is my cousin Tasha and her husband Ricky. Aren't they cute? They were funny cause they were sitting on opposite ends of the couch but as soon as they would get their pictures taken they would scoot next to each other. Such love~!

Deacon has not quite learned the concept of sharing. My cousin's little girl was playing on this motorcycle and Deacon came up and pushed her off because he wanted it! He is quite the bully!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Twilight

On Friday me and Julie and Brandy went to the midnight showing of Twilight. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to stay awake because I am normally in bed by ten and plus I had to be to work that morning so I only got about four hours of sleep. But I am so glad I went! I loved the movie. And now I am in love with Edward. When I first found out who they were casting for Edward I was disappointed. He was starting to grow on me a little bit but the moment he walked in on the movie I decided that I love him! There were some really cheesy parts but that was to be expected. And I felt like it was a little to fast paced in the beginning. But over all I loved it and I am going again this Friday and probably a few more times while it is in theatre.

Copperton Park

Over the weekend we had the chance to go up to Copperton for my grandma's brothers wedding reception. And of course we had to go over to the park. For those of you who don't know Copperton park is hands down the best park ever! They have this really cool pyramid that you can climb that has slides and tunnels. I don't have any pictures of that because Deacon was playing on another slide. But here are a few pictures of Deacon playing.




I love this picture of him on the swing. For the longest time I could not get him to stay in a swing. He would usually smile for like one second and then want out. This time he didn't want to get out. He was having way to much fun!

On Saturday me and my sister went and saw New Kids On The Block! And it was freakin amazing! If you guys didn't go you for sure missed out! I Forgot to bring my camera so I didn't get any pictures. But I am so excited that I got to go! One crazy thing about it though is when we went down to buy a shirt I had decided that I wanted a hoody but they were totally charging $85. Now that is insane so I opted to buy a shirt for $45. Still crazy but I really wanted one and I am going to wear it all the time!

Trick Or Treat

So I am finally getting around to posting the halloween pictures! This was Deacon's first year to go trick or treating. And he LOVED it! He was Superman this year and he looked so cute! Me and Danny took him to our parents neighborhood to go trick or treating that way we would know some of the neighbors!

Deacon loved going door to door and getting candy. The only thing he couldn't figure out was why he couldn't go into everyones houses! He would get so mad when we would have to leave!

But I think his favorite part of the night was when he got to play in the leaves. He had never done this before and he was so excited. Everytime we would try to take him out he would just sit right back down. He was not going to leave the pile of leaves!

Also on my most favorite sisters birthday we went to the zoo. She decided that a 30th birthday party would be awseome at the zoo! And it was! The weather was so nice thankfully cause she said no matter what we had to go! So my whole family went to except for Danny cause he is always working. And we all had a blast!

This is my nephew Brody. I wouldn't even get near the snake and he even touched it! GROSS! I hate snakes! I think that Deacon inherited my fear of snakes because any time he would get near one that day he would freak out and start to cry. My brother even showed him a stuffed animal snake in the gift shop and he was not having it! I don't think he had even seen a snake until that day at the zoo. So I have no idea where he learned to be afraid. But at least I won't have to worry about him bringing home snakes!
Then when we were in looking at the monkeys my sister says to me "oh no this one is dead!" And it was just a stuffed animal. She thought it was real!
